Well i caved and bought a 2008 eclipse ego BUT i still have my pm7 with ul frame. The question i am posing is... Should i sell the M7 so i can actually have money OR should i keep it in the rare event the EGO breaks down?

keep in mind the pm7 has cost me a total of 750 Marker(used)+Ul Frame and i would probably only be able to sell it for 600 with stock frame and med rebuild kit.

Well i think that i would sell it and pocket some cash, you can never have too much money for paintballs, air, and field fees...even scenarios if thats what your into.

I had the same thing last year with my Ego 07, I had a DM5 as well. In the end I sold it because my Ego simply NEVER stopped working. But you can never be too safe, and with resale of paintball products the way they are, you'd be lucky to fetch $400 out of your gun. I'd hold onto it personally, as a backup for yourself, your teammates, or even for someone you'd like to introduce to the sport.

You can't sell it for much.

PM7's run for 450 NEW, or 500 NEW with the UL frame.

Well even at 600ish you're going to get a ton of comments like "I can get it new for $$500!". This is just my opinion, but I think you should be going for 70% of what people can get it for new. Which in this case would be 350ish.

Just keep it. Resale for matrixes has gone to hell so might as well keep it as a backup.
