also super glue and duct tape- good for fixing cuts. Seriously. Duct tape and gauze make a good improv large bandage too. and some Neosporin will do wonders.

How about your safety?
Chuck in some Nitrile gloves- you don't want any blood borne diseases.

An excellent suggestion and point. Another suggestion, hand sanitizer for cleaning and sanitizing the wound(s) and then use superglue to seal the wound. Might also want to keep stuff in zip lock bags....that way if you do need to use it when you dump the pod out everything doesn't end up in the dirt or mud.

holy guys. this isnt A one man surgical room. lol.
It was just for if someones gets a nasty cut or gash and we could cover it up so the walk through the forest wont spread infection... mainly to keep it clean. I dont know If I can shove all the stuff in the pod. its packed pretty darn tight as it is.

And im NOT using superglue on someone. This isnt the ghetto Safty class 101.

Yes I already have everything in ziplock bags. most of its packedge in a plastic wrap anyways.

I had to use my pod at the field the other weekend. Somebody got bonus balled by a hot gun and nealry point blank. I pulled out my spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide, and he was good as new. That is probobly the most important thing IMO. So nobody feels like a baby with a band-aid.

i carry a small first aid kit, but a pod sounds cooler.

i take:
gloves (never go without)
gauze
medical tape
bandaids
hydrogen peroxide
bandana
CELL PHONE (EMS!)
swiss army knife...ya
first aid quals, incase anyone asks...

i'm not a walking operating room, but i am prepared to deal with most anything that doesnt requre EMS and to stabilize until EMS arrives if needed

i think this is something that should be marketed and requiered to be carried by reffs. i mean there all over the field and could easily carry this around. besides its also their job is safety anyway lol.
