Just a point of personal curiosity. As a ref wht game do you enjoy reffing the most? The lest? Why?

And I don't mean speedball or woodsball. I mean Capture the flag, assassinate the president, fox and hounds etc. or a particular style of speedball, x-ball, hyperball........

What makes it fun or kills the enjoyment of reffing for you during these games?

I like reffing big assault the fort missions: I can stand back, sit down and watch the match as it progresses. I do not however like reffing x-ball it's too quick and I get shot too much :D

Cheers,

I don't like reffing attack and defend type games on smaller fields, since I usually end up being the ref who is walking around the defenders who are getting pummeled.

I like standard elimination, center flag, or assault type games. Especially when I get to ref more experienced players.

I like to ref speedball games, especially when you catch someone wiping/playing on.

I VERY much dislike reffing 5-man tournies, too many people to watch and you get shot far too much.

I like reffing any scenario because the people don't act like it's life or death whether they win or not.

i like reffing pretty much any kind of speedball over woodsball, its not that i like speedball more, its just that...i dont want to walk that much just to ref with people who usually call themselves out.

Yes, I hate 45 minute 1v1 snapshooting battles...I guess they don't realize that you shoot 3 balls, make them duck, keep shooting, and bunker them.

For best reffing I like the SPPL. No one gets in your face and there are no paintball moms to yell at you through the netting. Worst D4 Xball they know enough to pull the triger fast but not enough to aim. They all seem to belive that the refs are all no good and that they know best.
Its simple I saw the hit,

SPPL Events are awsome to ref. Great Players and it's riot seeing things develop. Watching players move to get the better position.

The thing I enjoy the most is the sportmanship ....many times I have seen players shake hands on the field and say great shot. Awsome to see that kind of play
