Good old PETA. They have decided to try and rename fish as "sea kittens" to get people to stop fishing for/eating them. Filet "O" Sea Kitten anyone?

I think I'm actually going to eat fish now. I hate fish wish a passion, but what the hell, why not.

I have no faith in PETA. Last month they wanted ben&jerry's to use human breast milk in their ice ream. i wonder if they think about the things they want, or if they just say "oh! that would be great! lets tell America to do it"

Only someone too bloody stupid to tell the difference between a cat & a fish would ever join PETA anyway....

Does it make me a bad person for wanting to go fishing now?

Sea. Kittens.

Honestly. I think all this accomplished was made me to wonder what actual kittens taste like...

PETA... I have no word to explain how I feel about their perverse ideals.

This is great. Did anyone read the quote from the Sun Times on the opening page?

Quote

[Oxford] scientists have also revealed [that Sea Kittens] completed complex mential tasks which would baffle 'brighter' pets like hamsters and dogs.
-The Sun (UK), October 4, 2004

I wonder if fish can spell "mental".

I think PETA comes up with campaign ideas much the same way Family Guy comes up with joke ideas (southpark reference).

I Choose not to Conform to the Stereotypical Conformities that Stereotypical Conformative Society Conforms to.

LOL...i hate PETA

I am ALLL for animals...so a few years ago i put myself on their mailing list...not knowing the extremes to which PETA went to. I had to go to great lengths to get my name off the list, because they send lists of names to all scientific research labs (where i can work as a Biotechnologist), and a friend of a friend got fired from her lab because she didnt take her name off the list... GAH...darn PETA
