well, my Etek is leaking air again out of the bleeder on the bottom of the ASA, its the stock etek ASA. I've oiled all of the o-rings in there (theres two), but i can't figure out why it's constantly leaking. When i first air it up, it'll be fine, but after a couple shots it will start 'bleeding' again. And as a little footnote, my LP crossy tank can shoot and re-cock an MR2 and a 98, though the 98 has pretty low velocity on this tank. Think this has anything to do with it? ANY help at all is much apreciated as i'm playing a game tomorow.

Did you change the o-ring on the tank?

.

Or you might just have to put new o-rings on the ASA.

^^^I don't have any experience with Etek's, but that's the only thing I can think of too. Any time I see a marker leaking from there, it's an o-ring issue.

I have seen the on/off valve threads shred an o-ring in the ASA.

aight, i'll try changing all the o-rings. Though, how would i go about this, seeing as how i have no o-ring pick or anything of the like?

well, i went out today and found myself glad eteks run on fairly low pressure. Took me about ten minutes to change the oring, so now it only bleeds out of i have an hp source on it. Consider this thread closed.

put some oil in it. thats what my friend did, and his stopped leaking. i think it makes the orings or something expand.
and glad you fixed it, thats how i would do it if i were you and wanted to run hp
