I am about to buy a tac one and was wondering how good it is on air. How many shots can one get on a 68ci 4500psi tank?

My Classic Mag (same efficiency as any other Automag) got about 700 shots from my 45/45 easily today. I carried 3 pods and a hopper (600 or so balls), and filled to about 4000PSI, I would still have a little under 1000PSI left by the time I ran out of paint. So a Tac One with a 68/45 would get about 50% more shots (about 50% larger), or nearly 1000, possibly more.

My experience is that, on an X-Valve with lvl10 (i.e., stock Tac One), you can expect to get around 1000 shots off of a fully filled 68/4500 (with 850psi output) before you start experiencing shootdown.

IMO, that's plenty for a two hour scenario.

Mags are about as efficient as an A-5. It's not their strong suit, but Mags more than make up for it in relibility and consistancy.

They're not the most efficient guns, but they're by far not the worst. I consider Tippmann efficiency to be more than acceptable.
