Team SpecOPS

Home Team

Team SpecOps is a walking, talking, shooting poster-child for woodsball™. We eat, sleep and drink paintball tactics.

Every week, the team rolls out to its private paintball field and meets up with its dedicated crew of scrimmagers. There, we develop and review new gear where it makes the most sense – in the muck and the mire of actual paintball play. No other woodsball™ company puts their gear through the kind of testing that we do. We know what we like and we only sell stuff that works.

And, we're not just testing gear. Team SpecOps spends many hours each month in the classroom honing tactics and strategy that is tested during drills and regular play. The paintball doctrine found on this website has been tried and tested by the team and is proven to kick ass on the field.

Basically, Team SpecOps completely relies on the superiority of coordinated team play. The SpecOps boys have owned far too many lone wolf players to deny the power of playing in sync. Week after week, we dominate groups of experienced walk-on players who lack only one thing: a coordinated team. Commonly, Team SpecOps will hang the flag on walk-on groups four to five times its numbers, and we pull it all off through the power of communication, tactics and leadership.

Some Team members are old paintball vets (come having played over twenty years,) but much of the team is new to the sport. You couldn't tell by watching us play. Even our newbies have honed their skills through loads of experience, practice and after-action review. Fact is, we don't claim to be great players, individually. As a team, though, we're unstoppable.

Team SpecOps preaches the advantages of team play through its website and also through on-the-ground paintball trainings. Every year, we invite select players from around the country to join us on our private field for a weekend of paintball play and intensive training.

The ninety-acre Special Ops Paintball Retribution Field is the ideal environment for paintball tactic-building. With virtually every woodsball™ structure known to man, the field offers a serious challenge to those who would train as a team. With two full fields and an attack-and-defend field, the team and their scrimmagers can expand or shrink the field to meet the day's scenario. With bunkers, towers and pillboxes, the defensive fortifications were designed to provide a maximum assault challenge to force the Team to rely on solid strategy and fluid coordination.

How could a company claim "We Are Woodsball™" without living woodsball™ first? We don't think it's possible, so we play paintball like it's a lifestyle, not a weekend hobby.

Recon Team

Team Special Ops Paintball roams around the country like a rock band on tour. The scenario season finds us caravanning from one coast to the other (and everywhere in between.) While we're out there, we get loads of help from our Recon Team – Brigade members who have been asked to represent our style of 'ball.

Most Recon players are pulled from the best scenario teams and they enjoy gear and other sponsorship benefits. If you'd like to develop a team that might get recognized as a Special Ops Paintball Recon Team, get signed up with the Special Ops Brigade and start training your team. We'll see you out there as we tour. Who knows? You might just get noticed by our talent scouts.

Special Ops Brigade

You don't have to be invited to join the Team to get benefits from Special Ops Paintball. As a Brigade member, you can track your game play and skills and find yourself earning great benefits such as free merchandise, discounts, free tours-of-duty in the Razorback Tank and VIP treatment at the Special Ops Paintball pavilion at paintball events.

Probably the coolest thing about signing up as a Brigade member is that we will hook you up with your own smoking paintball website. The website will track your gear, photos, attendance at events and even your kill ratio. Check it out – it's seriously badass.

As a Brigade member, you gain rank as you play. With increased rank comes discounts, free stuff and invitation to special events. Why not earn benefits while you play? Join up today, it's FREE.
