Semi-auto Paintball Pistol

A favorite among many paintballers for its good looks, the reliable .68 Delta semi-automatic paintball pistol is custom milled from high grade aluminum for excellent balance and precision. The .68 Delta handgun boasts excellent range and accuracy and is available in black or bead blast chrome finish.

The pistol features a 10-round feed, but can hold 12 rounds at one time, counting one round in the feed port, and another round in the chamber. Changing the feed tube is quick and easy; however, the feed tube plug is not connected to the marker itself, so when you remove it to reload the chamber, be careful not to lose the plug. To prevent losing your feed tube plug, some owners recommend drilling a small hole in the plug and attaching a short string/fishing line to it that attaches to the marker.

The Delta securely locks a standard 12 gram CO2 cartridge in place with a clamp instead of a threaded cap, and includes a plate and screw to make adjustments to the clamp's fit on the cartridge. However, you must carefully adjust the screw just right so that it securely seals the cartridge. Because it is adjustable, sometimes you may need to tighten or loosen the plate screw so the clamp fits perfectly – and unfortunately, the “fit” may vary slightly from cartridge to cartridge. (Shots per cartridge typically range from 20-30, depending on your mainspring configuration. See the Upgrades section below.)

One convenient feature (and a favorite among owners), is that the Delta .68 is not fickle with paint, so you don’t have to buy three or four different brands before finding a paint that the gun won’t break. The paintball handgun is also extremely easy to field strip and clean.

Features:

·      Ported Barrel

·      Ball Detent

·      Bead Dot Sight

·      Easy to Field Strip and Clean

·      Lightweight

·      Spring-Loaded Direct Feed Tube

·      Patented Quick-Release CO2 System

·      Bead Blast Finish

·      True 45 Grip Frame

·      Comfortable Sticky Grip

·      Package Includes Extra O-rings and Allen Key

Maintenance Tips

When switching CO2 cartridges, it is important to make sure all of the CO2 is expended before removing. If the cartridge is not emptied prior to removing, the pressure could possibly blow the O-ring out. To avoid this, after you believe the cartridge is empty, pull the hammer back one more time and shoot another shot. This will ensure that the cartridge is empty and you can then safely release it and replace it with a new one.

Always keep your marker clean and lube the cup seal before you play. It is also a good idea to keep spare O-rings handy if possible.

Upgrades

Many owners recommend upgrading to a stronger mainspring to increase velocity. A higher tension Spyder spring (which costs only a few dollars) fits the Delta perfectly and greatly enhances velocity. However, the increased velocity will slightly decrease your shots per CO2 capsule, yet you should still be getting 20 or more shots.
